  • Liz demonstrates centerpiece mechanics: proportion, depth, scale, and movement.

  • Discussion of how floral choices set tone and atmosphere for gatherings.

  • Guests condition and prepare their stems.

0:45 – 1:15 | Designing Your Own Centerpiece

  • Each participant creates a personal centerpiece.

  • Focus on using flowers as invitations to conversation and connection.

  • Practical notes on vessel choice, candle pairing, and placement at a table.

1:15 – 1:40 | The Shared Table

  • Participants place their arrangements together on a long table.

  • Discussion: what makes a table welcoming? How do flowers change the way people gather?

  • Art of Hosting touch: harvest collective wisdom by noticing shared themes.

1:40 – 2:00 | Closing Ritual

  • Gather at the completed table.

  • Share a toast or moment of appreciation around the finished collective table.

  • Guests take home their centerpiece and a handout: “Designing the Table: Floral Notes & Hosting Principles.”
